Accomodation
International students coming to study at Petra Christian University (PCU) will live in a boarding house located within 2 to 5 minutes walking distance from PCU campus.
Facilities:
- drinking water (because, unlike Japan, you CANNOT drink tap water in Indonesia),
- bed (excluding bed sheet and blanket),
- wardrobe,
- AC,
- internet connection (LAN cable or WiFi),
- water heater,
- laundry (2 pieces per day, excluding underwear),
- outdoor window (depends on availability),
- private bathroom,
- shared kitchen and cooking utensils.
The price range varies from from IDR 1,750,000 - IDR 2,750,000 per month. However, please note that the price does NOT include electricity and internet bill.
The room is usually single occupancy, but 2 students of the same gender can share a room and make it into a double occupancy.
Moreover, renting a room in a boarding house requires an IDR 2,000,000 deposit money which should be deposited during check in and will be refunded during check out.
